    Grass turning green? check. Trees thinking about leaves? check.

    winter storm warning? sigh… check.

    Must be spring on the prairies. It’s always a little two steps forward, one step back.

      Ahhh! Nothing like warm weather followed by some last minute snow! Winter usually only leaves kicking and screaming like a spoiled child in the midwest!

    I felt like your bear then turned into the bunny when I splashed in my vernal pool today and played with the teensy critters there. Spring has sprung, get to a “pool”.

      The bear kind of reflects how I feel every morning when I have to wake up. Eventually my mood reflects more of the bunny too (especially when the sun is shining!)

    I love your cartoon, Dana. The bear is so lucky to have such great friends like the rabbit! And both body languages say it all. Kind, gentle, and positive feedback to the bear, hoping he takes it the right way, and wakes up to enjoy spring.

    Love your bear and bunny Dana, wow, your work is just great! We’re going into a really cool Autumn here in South Africa but I’m looking forward to winter, our summer was a scorcher!

      Thank you Patricia! California is so beautiful! I have dreamed sometimes of moving to CA… but for now I’ll appreciate the ending of the winter blahs and looking forward to the coming summer! Maybe someday I’ll find myself out West! :)
